You can fill in as many or as few fields as you want. Searching for john in the Firstname field will find all of the entries for first name John.
Likewise Roger in Firstname and John in Lastname would return Roger Johnson.
Multiple word searches in one field will not be successful unless they are exact. For example, if you are looking for
Continuing Education searching for con ed will not work however cont will show all of the entries for Continuing Education and Grants & Contracts.
Likewise Education would show all entries like Educational Services and Continuing Education.
