diversities amongst the dominant and minority cultures.
- Display the belief that all students can learn and will learn in the
classroom.
- Recognize and incorporate the life histories and experiences of the
students' group memberships into the classroom.
- Critically analyze oppression and power relationships amongst diverse
groups.
- Critique society in relation to social justice and equality.
- Participate and encourage students to participate in social action that
will ensure a democratic society.
